This modern apartment is the perfect base for hiking with its location at the foot of the Cerro Torre hike. the owner, who speaks English, is extremely helpful and provides advice on hikes, weather, shops, and pubs. the apartment is well-equipped, including a fridge and everything needed for cooking. the friendly host even accepts payment by bank transfer, which is convenient in a town where cash can be difficult to obtain. the apartment offers a clean and comfortable stay with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing trip.

We spent 3 good nights here and everything was perfect. We were satisfied with the amazing views and the great view available. The kitchenette had a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and fridges, so it was perfect for us.

Excellent budget apartment, friendly caretakers

I had an amazing 9-night stay at the upstairs apartment in El Chalten. Despite being a bit tight on space for four adults, the price was unbeatable and we had a wonderful week. The kitchen, though small, served us well as we cooked meals and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the apartment. The caretakers were friendly and helpful, providing us with DVDs to borrow and ensuring we were comfortable with plenty of heaters to keep us warm. The only downside was the abundance of flies in the town, but it didn't overshadow our enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Latitud 49 Apart for an excellent budget accommodation with friendly caretakers.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in El Chalten. the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips and information. the house was warm and comfortable, which was especially appreciated as the heating can be problematic in other places. the location was perfect for exploring the area, with several hiking trails starting right from our doorstep. the host's dog was also a highlight, so sweet and friendly. it was the best place we stayed at during our trip to Patagonia. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 😊.
